Excellent product, replaced the handle on my Maydole ball pein hammer. It required some work to get it to fit, but that is to me expected. Removed the finish, but that is personal choice.

I have replaced several handles and they all came with a wooden and a steel wedge. This one does not. Other than that, it’s a hammer handle.

With a little sanding I'll fit it for my 2-1/2lb hammer. I love the fact that it is both Hickory and Made in the USA. I only wish it was not pre cut for a flat wedge. My hammer is very old, which had an "S" shaped wedge. Still going to be a great restoration.

Decent handle spent 20 minutes to fit and wedge in place.
