The main thing when opening the package is to let it sit out in the sun so it will flatten out all the kinks to it. After doing so, you can install it into your truck bed, and it will sit nicely within. As for the tailgate, you'll have to screw it in by using the original screws from your tailgate to hold it down. After installation, it looks really good. Overall, this is the best way to protect your investment by lining your bed and tailgate. This bed mat includes the tailgate mat, which will protect your bed and will keep things from sliding around. It's made of a hard rubber, which is more durable than rubber. The liner fits perfectly, covering the entire bed surface at all edges. The only problem is that it there's no drain holes for the water drain off the mat and into the hole factory holes in the bed. I drilled my own holes to fix this. It arrives folded, so you'll need to leave it in the sun for a little while to flatten out.

I bought this set for my 2024 Toyota Tacoma, which includes the 6ft bed mat and the tailgate mat. Both mats fit perfectly and provide excellent protection.
