I was so grateful for the help I received from Ashley, sales rep from Louisville KY. I was so frustrated with getting wrong parts sent until I spoke with her. She went into great lengths locating the correct parts and having them delivered the next day. I will definitely be ordering from WIT in the future.

I am the original owner of a 1991 Wrangler. At 220,000 miles it was time to replace the transmission. Repair shop (4.8 internet rating) installed a transmission from WIT. In just 1,300 miles the second gear synchro ring had ground to powder. The replacement (warranty) transmission was ordered and installed. While on my way to church one day, downshifting from 4th to 3rd, the gearshift became STUCK. Drifted to a stop on someone's lawn. Could not get it to move freely whether I used the clutch with engine on or off. It was stuck. Towed to my garage an hour later, my wife collected me there to return home. Owner of shop was able to free the gearshift but had difficulty moving it into any gear. Transmission removed and sent to the only repair service available for manual transmissions, about an hour's drive. The owner of this shop reported it had found PART OF A GEAR TOOTH that had become lodged between the gears! Now get this! The gear tooth was NOT from any of the gears but from A PREVIOUS transmission! In other words, WIT's 'skilled' employees DID NOT CLEAN THE TRANSMISSION CASE BEFORE INSTALLING WHAT WOULD LATER BECOME MY TRANSMISSION!!! The shop ALSO found that 5th gear was CRACKED, the crack's origin beginning at the opening that accommodates the main transmission shaft to the circumference of the gear itself. Gear is about 7/8" thick. Was probably installed in that condition. Two of their JUNK transmissions failed at 1.300 miles EACH. Yes, that is correct. Neither one even provided 2,000 miles of service while I drove the OEM transmission for 220,000 miles. Right now I am in the process of preparing to sue this lousy company that has disavowed any responsibility for what happened claiming - get this, too! - I AM NOT ITS CUSTOMER AS I DID NOT PURCHASE THE TRANSMISSION DIRECTLY FROM WIT!!!I OMG! They will not reimburse me for all the expenditure I suffered thanks to their LOUSY PRODUCT. DO NOT TRUST these people. They have zero integrity. Most unprofessional and unethical people I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. I have reported them to the Office of the Kentucky Attorney General.
