Outside diameter is too small for Dometic drain hose, have to wrap teflon tape multiple times to make fit without falling out of drain.

While this drain plugs is designed to keep out dirt, debris and insects, it also can play a role in keeping moisture out of your RV fridge. So normally this plug is attached to a tube, going into your RV fridge and it allows condensation to exit your fridge. However, if you live in a hot and humid state, not having the plug on the end of the tube, will allow outside moisture into the RV fridge. The best scenario is to make sure your RV has one of these plugs on the drain tube and also slightly kink the tube, creating a slight p-trap. That way moisture can escape, but no moisture can come in.

My wife and I are lucky to own a travel trailer. Our has two fridges so we have two drain hoses on the outside. The little drain plugs become dry and brittle after a few years in the sun so I needed some replacements.The Aussio six pack RV refrigerator drain hose plugs was exactly what I needed to replace my brittle ones. This is simply a plug and play part and having a six pack is nice so there are some extras for future use.These are quality plugs that fit the standard exterior drain hose on RV fridges.

Not much to say about these, other than they fit and there are six of them. They're just little pieces of plastic in the form of a "filter" for the RV fridge hose. They dry out fairly quickly, and sometimes fall out, so it's nice to have multiples. I guess the price is fine, it's in line with others on the market, but still, they're just overpriced in general...

The old plug had cracked on the refrigerator drain line in my motor home, and as a result the drain line was not functioning properly. Worse, I was worried about bugs getting into the drain line, so I ordered these drain plugs. The new plugs fit well and it looks like they will be effective in keeping critters out of the drain line. They also do a better job of letting moisture out of the condensation drain line, which improves the efficiency of the refrigerator. I like having a few spare plugs available should they be needed. This is one of those simple but necessary RV accessories, and should be in every RV that has an absorption refrigerator.

Works, but they should have been about 2mm wider. Had one fall out on a 150 mile tow.

These plugs fit exactly as promised. Pulled out the old, broken one & popped this one right in. I even have 5 more if needed.
