Could not figure out why they were not fitting like they were supposed to. Take out the screw, and turn the second piece around. Now it will extend further. (i felt so dumb) haha

I needed these because the cubicle hanging baskets that I ordered came with really small partition hangers. Ordered these because my partitions are 3" thick and these say that they extend up to 3.5". When I opened the package the item inside was packaged in a clear bag on on the outside of that bag it said up to 2". I tried them hoping that they were labeled incorrectly, but they were not labeled incorrectly. They were really only 2" at full extension when they are advertised up to 3.5".

I used these hangers with a modified wall shelf to create a nice hanging shelf in my office. These hangers worked perfect! If you get real aggressive, you can bend them as needed, but for lightweight cubicle units, they are perfectly strong. I currently have plants on my hanging shelves and the hangers are handling it just fine.

These are awesome for hanging my outdoor curtains in the gazebo. They adjustable so they fit perfect. And I love that they do not need to be permanently installed. It’s super easy to just hang them up and use them when needed.

I like that these are adjustable but they don’t tighten super tight so they wiggle a little. It doesn’t bother me for my use.

I was really hoping I could use these hooks to replace some universal hooks I had for one of those over-the-door organizers. The original hooks are way to wide to fit properly over the door, they tilt up and rub on the door jam causing damage. So, I was anxious to get these adjustable ones.They adjust perfectly, you can have this over those small thin French doors or thicker doors or cubicle walls.However, be very careful on how much clearance the door has to the door jam on the top. Because they are adjustable, it turns out these hooks are too thick for where I want to use them and thus can only be used in other situations.Other situation: YAY. I don't have to drill holes in the garage wall to hang my hedge trimmers. These adjustable hooks perfectly fit inside a section of my storage cabinet and allow my hedge trimmers to hang nicely and snugly on the side. This make the garage a bit more organized which makes the wife happy.Although I found a worthy use for these hooks, they were not functional for the reason I got them so dropped a few stars. And for one other reason the install is an issue... When screwing down the 2 pieces of the adjustable hook, the screw sticks out mere millimeters (maybe less) but it still is enough to dig into the top of the door or cubicle wall so if it slides left or right, it will definitely scratch the surface. Before I learned that my door doesn't have the necessary clearance to close with these hooks installed, I was planning on taking a Dremel tool to file down the protruding screw to make it flush.But, I am able to find other uses for these even though I could not use it as intended/ordered.
