This set definitely has room for improvement, but there are some positives.The dibber is handy for getting a nice little hole to drop your seed in. The only thing that would improve it is if it had measurement marks on it from like 1/4" to 1".The widger actually worked really well for getting seedlings out of their cells and for separating soil blocks when up-potting or planting out in the garden.The red mini planters are actually pretty cool, but they are limited to particular sizes (and shapes) of seeds. Too small of seeds and you're going to get more than you want with one push of the plunger; too large of seeds and they aren't going to come out of the small round hole of planter at all. Flat and wide or any funky shaped seeds will not work. I tried it with radishes and it worked pretty well.Finally, the seed distributers, which is what I was really after in this set, do not actually work with tiny seeds as the listing claims. Even when you have the clear "lid" piece set to 1, which is the smallest opening, truly tiny seeds like oregano, chamomile, or even lettuce just roll or slide right out in a gap between the clear lid and the green base/chute. The two pieces do not fit flush together to only allow for seeds to come through the hole they're supposed to come out of, so with very tiny seeds you're getting way more than you need and one time and have to be extra careful when tapping them down the chute and into your planting hole. Both of the distributers are like this. So while they do work, they only will work well for bigger seeds.Overall, I would probably say to skip this set and search for one of better quality. The price is low, but you're getting what you're paying for. While a couple of these tools will stay in my gardening kit, the quality here is really not great.
