I really appreciate the AERMOTOR EM286 power circuit probe kit for its versatility in my RV after upgrading the battery system with new solar panels. The 9 practical functions, including voltage detection and short circuit tracking, make it an indispensable tool for maintenance. The 12-48V working range is particularly handy as I haven't fully transitioned to a 48V system yet.The dual LED lights and LCD display are great features for working in dimly lit areas of the RV. The long 14.76ft cables provide excellent reach for testing various components. I find the overload protection and sound alert reassuring when working on the electrical system.Overall, this tester has proven to be a valuable addition to my toolkit for diagnosing and maintaining my RV's upgraded electrical system.

This 12v circuit tester is a budget version of a power probe, it worked fine for the things I tested. The test leads are nice and long, the clamps serviceable. The instructions are poor. If you've used one of these before they'll be enough, but the instructions are incomplete and hard to understand in parts. If you've never used a power probe before you'll be heading to YouTube to learn.

Does everything my PowerProbe does for a fraction of the cost. Will handle up to 48V.

Many new vehicles are going to 48V to reduce the cost and size of wiring, and still have 12V busses for some dashboard equipment and things the consumer plugs in. My off-grid container home also has 48V and 12 volts, with common grounds, so I appreciate the meter so that I know which one I've connected to.
