This purchase was to replace an empty string spool for a Greenworks string trimmer. This fits perfectly, and is easy to use. The spool has two channels of sting, crimped into grooves on the spool. You can quickly remove the strings from the grooves, feed through the trimmer head holes and install within 30 seconds. The replacement cap which comes with the spools fits perfectly. Once installed, the spool works with the trimmer button which lets out replacement slack from the spool as expected. I'm giving this product 4 stars, as the price was good, although the string seems to deteriorate pretty quickly in comparison to the Greenworks OEM spool that was installed at purchase of the string trimmer. Since an empty spool triggered my need to replace, I'm not sure if there is less line on these than on the OEM spools or if the string is just more brittle than the Greenworks version.

Purchased for a Greenworks dual line auto feed weed wacker model 2900719 / item 2101602 40 v 12". This replacement line fit perfectly and worked flawlessly! They even enclose a new cover/cap incase yours is not staying in place properly. So worth the slight extra expense not to have to wind your own, not because of laziness but bc we have phototoxic wild parsnip that I really don't want to be in transfer contact with that reusing and rewinding the spool could possibly expose me to. So happy these fit and perform perfectly!

I have had this greenworks weedeater for 5 years. I finally ran out of line a few months ago. I ordered new line directly from hreenworks but what I got was way too small and didn't fit my weedeater at all. I ordered this on Amazon and it was a perfect fit and tge line effortlessly cuts through grass and weeds and sticks like they're nothing! Lol I love it! I'll have plenty now to last me. Love this stuff!

This fits my tool so I don't have a choice. The wire like string lasts a long time. I ordered replacements and just opened the box so the first 3 lasted over a year.

While I bought these wrong size, the line itself is great! I was able to add the line to an old casing to be able to cut my grass. I didn’t want to return it and wait for the correct size to arrive.
