The Shimano free wheel sprocket fit my Trek bike precisely and appears to be of better quality than the factory installed which only lasted two years.

Got this for a cheap department store bike with the old style freewheel, instead of a normal cassette. Its construction is solid and the price is fair.

After three months riding, the welding ring part between gears was suddenly broken during riding, so gears were fallen apart and the chain was stuck in it, had to push bike and walk home for a long distance.

Part appears to be genuine, fit and finish is good, part has no excessive play. Much higher quality then the "tri-diamond" brand that originally came on my bike. This shimano freewheel eliminated the clunking noise i had when pedaling.
