I smashed the connector on the back of my jeep, so now I installed this one inside the back compartment, and use a short extension to hook the trailer up when I tow. This keeps the connector out of the rack smashing dangers zone.Was easy to hook up and mount.

I've never done anything electrical and I was able to do this now I can take my RV with lights.

I'm hoping that it works the way it's suppose to. Only time will tell. Sort of frustrating when you buy a plug with 7 wires and they are 6 different colors and no wiring diagram. Sort of sad.

Nice length pigtail to work with the socket is about as sturdy as any other off the shelf ones and it works as described when hooked up correctly

The 7-pin plug on the back of my RV got hit my something in the road and broke the housing. This replacement with the mount was exactly what I needed and as resolved the problem.It is as good a quality as the OEM one that came with the RV and works exactly as the OEM one did. Very happy with this product.

appears to be well made although i have not installed yet due to need to repair area destroyed by rust first, then i will install and test this unit.just looking at it, it appears to bed well made.will install soon.
