I was bit nervous about the tranceducer mount fitting into the base due to some of the reviews. It was a tight fit but it clicked in just fine. It helped that I poped it in before I put the ducer on it.

The mounting bracket looks like the original, but after installing the base piece, the hinged piece would not snap into place. The tolerances of the snap hooks were way off. After modifying them with a dremel, I got them to work. If you purchase this item, be ready to modify it.

I snapped mine off by hitting a stump, this is a perfect replacement.
