Excedes expectations. Easy and quick to use. It floats and sturdy. I had to wait but worth it. Enhancing my fishing experiences from now on. I had to seal the metal to fiberglass joint with 5 minute epoxy for small amounts of water would seep into the thick hollow shaft. 5 star otherwise.

This is a solid push pole. It has done its job well every time I'm on on the water, while holding up and not showing any problematic wear and tear. I like that the handle doubles as a boat hook.

This anchor works great for shore fishing instead of using a normal anchor or trolling motor. Just pull up to shore, spike this pole into the shallow water and attach dock line. Holds the boat well during tide and current swings. I like using this and is quicker than a normal anchor.

Great length, not too heavy but still sturdy and stiff enough to move around with. The compass is a joke but that's not why you are looking at this so just ignore it.

This is far more useful than a regular boat hook. I know I say it's pricey and it is but it does have better quality than your average boat hook. It works great as a temporary anchor for small boats in water depths around 3ft or so. Despite the price, I would buy this again.

This push pole has a nice solid weight and heft. The matte black finish and foam grip make it easy to hold on to. The fiberglass reinforced plastic head is virtually indestructible. I really like that it has a durable metal tip for better penetration. I will be using this with my small fishing tender to negotiate shallows.

I'll start with the one thing there is to complain about: that compass. It is wee. It doesn't really work. I don't really understand the point. So disregard the compass - it's useless, but it doesn't hurt anything.Otherwise - this is heavy duty. It's very well-built, very rugged. I've never used this sort of "anchor" - so I'm still learning how best to leverage it, but what I have learned is that it is really nice to have it as something to stabilize yourself with when getting into and out of the kayak on a sandy or otherwise soft shore.
