Exactly as described. This has become a hard-to-find item in the big box home improvement stores. Price was reasonable, even compared with the 1 5/8 screws offered there.

I am pretty happy with these screws. Luckily, I didn't order these for a specific project. I just ordered them to have on hand because I always have random projects come up. I somehow ordered #14 sized screws without realizing how big #14s are. These things are huge! Luckily, I have some outdoor projects that I do randomly throughout the year and it sometimes involves large items like railroad ties, 4x4s, 6x6s and other large lumber and these screws work perfectly for those projects and are incredibly strong and durable. I also particularly like that these are coated to withstand the outdoor elements without rusting/corroding. So even though these are way bigger than I realized, they still work perfect for some of my projects so I am really happy with them. I love that these have a Torx head on them since that is so much easier to work with and they don't strip out like the typical Phillips head screws. It also comes with a T30 Torx bit in the box which is awesome. Overall, I am really happy with these and don't have any complaints.

Picked these up to have around these house when I need that Long Screw for a project. These arrived quick and well packaged. The are well made with a nice coating on them. They screw all the way through a 4x4 with no issues. I would recommend these screws to anyone looking for a well-made, long screw.

These are great screws! And LONG screws! 8 inches is crazy! I mean I don't generally get excited about screws and wouldn't write home about these, but tbh they do have a lot of the "bells and whistles" that a screw could have--a torx drive, a reinforced neck, epoxy coating, self-tapping, and reversed threads at the top. It's strange to think about some screws being more luxury than others, but these are pretty high end for screws!

I have to preface my review by explaining that I did not actually order these screws for the purpose of deck-building. Circa 1998, I bought a box of similar deck screws at the Home Depot which I have slowly been using up for various household uses such as hanging pictures, drilling pilot holes and making small repairs to wooden things. I finally ran out. When I saw this was available to order, I jumped on it.However, in my haste, I did not realize that they were a specialty kind that require a Torx bit, rather than the cross-style Phillip's head which is ubiquitous. No problem though! They come with a matching Torx bit inside the package among the screws which I can use in my screwdriver with the hole in the end (bit driver). I found them to go in smoothly and easily into drywall, smooth as silk, definitely an upgrade from my old solution.I give these 5 stars for my experience even though I cannot speak to how good they are for actual decks.

Good wood screws. These screws appear to be substantial and sturdy, they are rust resistant but not rust proof so I would not use them on decking or anything exposed to the elements as I believe they would rust fairly quickly. That being said, if using outdoors, a good coat of paint over the screw head would help its longevity. They are very similar to the ones you can purchase at Walmart. Time will tell with their longevity.

These are serious screws, and I have written this about every screw I have reviewed from BNUOK.They have a deep, course thread and the Torx well is seriously deep. I don't see how you can possibly strip one of these, unless you really try.Their 2000 hours of salt spray exposure means that pretty much everywhere other than a coastal environment, these will last darn near forever. My only complaint, which is the same as I have made on their other reviews, is the case. Instead of using a container that is more cube shaped, they use a flat case that seems better suited for necklaces.Buy, this is only a minor issue.
