This harmonic balancer was used on my sbc 350 engine, it fit perfectly and now I can check my timing drgrees.

Not much to say here... Pressed on as it should have, timing marks seem to be accurate, and the ground seal surface of the hub insured no front-main oil leak. This was for a daily driver, not a show car. If I had any knocks on the product, it would be that the paint is weak. Any kind of solvent, petrol-chemical takes the paint right off. Consider a quick re-paint if long term appearance is important. Still a good value, quality part. I would buy again.

I had a bad leak in the crankcase seal and had original damper on car that was in bad shape so decided to replace it. The damper was 6.25 and the only size I found for small block that fit was 6.75 so purchased the damper. I knew I would have to remove metal flange piece by damper. I saw bolt holes lines up and put on some grease and since no bolt had to use a piece of wood and mallet to seed the damper on went on nicely. A good quality product and will drive this weekend to test. Well drove the car this weekend and have no issues with new damper. Very pleased with his product considering a new 6.25 damper was going to cost $400 bucks at auto parts store near bye.

Good product, and the timing marks even lined up! I had bought a timing tape as well, because I've never had a balancer's marks land on true TDC and be accurate, but this one did. A fluke? Maybe, but it did so I am certainly not complaining.

Works as expected - not pleased with the way the degrees are just painted on the balancer. A basic cleaner wiped them off, be warned. Maybe a clear coat would help.

I used this on my 327 chevy rebuild project. Perfect fit. Great for a daily driver or moderate build. Not recommend for running RPMs in excess of 6000. Does not come with a new bolt ! THIS IS FOR INTERNAL BALANCED ENGINES ONLY !

Took far longer than I care to admit to diagnose my old Dampner had slipped 12 degrees. 1994 gmc 5.7 Sierra 1500. This is a quality dampener. The timing marks are highly visible. Was able to dial the timing in and the truck runs like new. The old engine had about 200k hard miles towing and all the other fun abusive stuff we like to put our trucks through. I should have replaced the old Dampener when I installed the new short block. I'm cheap what can I say. The new engine with the new dampener run better than ever.

this is a good dampner however one thing to note that made me nervous is the fact that this dampner doesnt appear to be installed fully when it is.seems that 3/8 inch of snout or hub sticks out of seal when it in fact is all the way installed.this is misleading because the dampner is thinner hence it just looks that way compared to an oem dampner.the look and general build quality of this dampner is second to none.i am very happy i bought this for my 327.
