These lights are very bright. They're also solidly built - they have plastic casings but they do not feel like they're going to break or anything. They definitely do their job as black lights. Though I've never seen lights come with a warning tag because of how hot they may get before. I haven't run them long enough to see for myself. But if you need a black light for any purpose, these are a great, affordable option.

I’ve been using these to whiten older plastic that has yellowed over the years. They work great with with a high % peroxide formula.

These two lights do an excellent job lighting up the volleyball court for after dark games. Illuminated the net and boundary lines as well as any florescent clothing players wore.

I went with these because for the price, they were they brightest, and had a built in switch rather than remote, with a pretty good cable length. I've been using them to great effect in resin curing, though I'm sure their instructions may advise against it. They don't get too warm, and they are made from metal and glass with good hardware.

I absolutely love these black lights! They really get the job done. I am a teacher and do glow rooms often. I use four of these in the classroom and they transform our glow activities perfectly. They do get hot so be careful when you turn them off and make sure the kids don’t touch them! Safety first!
