I love the look of this charging dock. The light glows underneath and it looks really premium, however whenever I take the controller off of the dock, I have to unplug and plug back in the usb-c power cable in order for the charging dock to work again. I don’t see a particular way to contact the seller either to see if there is a way to fix this super annoying issue. So I have to leave a one-star review because the dock is not that usable because of all of the unplugging and plugging back in of the cable just to get it to work.

I love 8bitdo products, they always hit it out of the park and they did again with this Xbox controller charging dock. The dock comes in a nice premium feeling box, that would be awesome as a gift for an Xbox gamer. The charging stand isn’t too big but isn’t tiny as you can see on my console it does almost touch the top in the middle compartment. It looks amazing with its RGB glow effect and transparent black design, glows yellow when charging and white when fully charged which is awesome and adds some color to my gaming setup.It comes with a battery and back plates which are necessary for the dock, and are Xbox branded which is awesome. It comes with a series X controller back plate as well as an Xbox one back plate which is great, compatible with both. Also comes with the battery which is also necessary for the setup. I tried the dock with my PowerA battery pack on another controller and it did not work since the pins don’t line up, so it’s definitely specific to this battery. Installation was super easy, and battery life on the controller is good. Controller stays firm on the dock once placed, no issues at all. Has a slight magnetism to the dock which helps it hold in place which is awesome. The only minor gripes I have with the charging stand is, its slow charging at half an amp output, and there is no way to charge the controller with a direct connection from testing it.I love this dock it looks awesome on my setup, premium quality, for a good price, highly recommend this and its from a reputable brand love it!

I own many 8BitDo controllers. They are the single company I will come back to again and again for 3rd party controllers for video game consoles. I have owned several controller docks over the years... but I have tended to revert back to charging to USB (or changing out rechargeable batteries, in the Xbox's case) due to reliability issues and temperamental charging. This dock, however, works perfectly. I haven't had any issues with it. I love the transparent "ghost black" color, the mild glowing orange light when charging, and the overall organic shape. It comes with two controller battery covers, one for Xbox One controllers and one for Xbox Series S/X controller, and a large rechargeable battery (that takes up the place of two AA batteries) that works in both controller types. I also appreciate that the back of the device has a hidden "cubby" that lets you hide the unused controller cover. The dock perfectly charges my Series X controller and keeps it topped up for my next playing session.Overall, this is an excellent charging dock - the best one I own!

Je l'ai depuis seulement quelques semaines mais jusqu'à maintenant ca fonctionne bien et j'aime le look. Ca fait jolie lorsque la manette est dessus. La lumière est ajustable a 2 intensité.

This works great! Only downfall is that I have to place the controller on the charger then unplug it for it to actually charge. It’s an annoyance really and I’m worried it will have to be replaced eventually from the constant pulling.

It's not used for a main controller, just for the last Gen console we rarely use. Battery isn't spectacular even with minimal use imo. Other than that it's fine for stream services (though our TV has them all anyway) or playing older games like Fable.
