Positives:The speed of shippingWell assembledNo structural damage.Negatives:Low quality materialsIt creeks when you lay on it.Widely spaced wooden support slats.Manufacturer was not the same as the one listedProduct does not look like the one pictured.Overall I am not impressed. The top surface is a thick cardboard placed on top of thin, widely spaced wooden slats. The cardboard is a good idea because it adds some ridigity and creates a smooth surface for latex and memory foam mattresses to rest apon. That being said, the slats are far enough apart that I'm unsure how stable the box spring would be under the weight of a heavy foam mattress...I'd be hesitant to test it out.The whole thing seems to be put together well, so no complaints there. But the materials used seem really cheap.I was really disappointed that the item was not the same color as the photo.

We bought this for our son's bed and after only 8 months it started making horrible squeaking, grinding noises whenever someone crawls onto the bed. We now have to buy a new box spring. This one is a piece of garbage! BEWARE!

These arrived after we had gotten rid of our old box springs. Company was arriving, so we had to keep them. We also have a very heavy latex foam mattress and didn't want to take the bed apart again....if we went to the trouble of returning them.. First, they look nothing like the picture. I'm sorry I didn't photograph them. They are all white with a black bottom and the top is a solid, thin board. Also we could detect no springs in them. Perhaps they are platform rather than box springs.?? They make a thudding noise when you sit on the bed. Also look very cheaply made. This review sheet just came in the mail. We have had no problems with an Amazon order prior to this so have not used the review sheet.
