I have this connected to a MacBook air running through a hub, and a Windows machine. Switching can be a bit iffy.The MacBook doesn't always get a wakeup signal after I switch to it, and press a key or the mouse. Previous KVM would do this reliably. Also, sometimes the screen will go black for several seconds, and then come back to life when connected to the Mac.The Windows box usually gets a good connection, except occasionally it will not connect to the keyboard and mouse correctly. Switching to another host and back does nothing. The only way to get it reconnect seems to be to unplug the keyboard from the KVM and plug it back in.Does handle the screen mostly fine, except for the occasional blackouts on the Mac side.

I have been using this KVM for about two months. It works well. I removed a star because the remote controller's numbering does not match the buttons on the KVM.

This is replacing an older hdmi kvm. I got this mainly because of 2 factors, 8K30fps and also price. As a cavate, the older Kvm has a tiny PC switch vs this is much bigger, while the kvm is 1/2 the size of the old one. My old one lasted me about 3 years before it start glitching like switching but have to power off / on before the PC recognize it. So only time will tell how long this last, but so far it is doing well.

One day, I found myself with too many computers and no convenient way to control all of them. This thing is great for my uses. Now the computers that need a keyboard and monitor for setup, and/or troubleshooting, have access to those.

Functions well. My only complaints are that power to the keyboard is briefly interrupted when switching machines causing my LED settings to go away and set to the default color. Also hot key switching would be nice...alas. The 4 machines I’ve connected to it are all happy.

This KVM has been quite valuable, primarily because of the remote feature. For my use case, being able to change the device from a distance is essential since I can't use any hotkeys like most other KVMs support. The setup was straightforward, and it handles my high-resolution displays nicely. Although I'm not switching USB devices currently, it's handy to have that feature should it be needed in the future. The metal construction also feels durable and gives me more confidence in the longevity of the unit.If there's one issue to mention, it's the bright LEDs. They can be a bit annoying if they happen to be facing you. I resorted to using a small dab of blu-tack to cover most of the light. It looks a bit unsightly, but it helps.Overall, this has been a great addition to my home setup. I can highly recommend it to others needing a similar solution.

Very compact KVM switch with a wired remote control. The picture shows the switcher mounted below the desk. KVM switches have lots of cables but without them, the cable "management" would be almost impossible. This switch was small enough so I could put the clutter where it's not seen. The remote control makes this possible.The unit comes with USB 3.0 A/B cables about 1.5 meters long but not HDMI cables. I had one USB connection that was over 1.5 meters so I tried a USB 2 A/B cable which intermittently failed. Be sure to use USB 3.0 cables when connecting to USB 3 ports.If you have read reviews where the remote control inputs 2 and 3 are reversed, you will be happy to know that, this issues has been fixed.

So far this has been a great KVM. It is housed in a metal case which I found surprising.I Started with a laptop and DVD player to a PC monitor to test it,no issues at all. It can be used as a 4 port hub for USB thumb drives. no problem have 4 thumb drives connected. later tried it with a laptop 2 desktops and a DVD player. the corded remote is handy as well.Sit it on the desk near the mouse. also tested using 3 dvd players to one 50" TV, no issues.The green indicator LEDs are a tad too bright i stuck a bit of tape over them to dim it a bit.comes with USB cables. I Recommand this over the plastic cheapies found elsewhere

My use case for this KVM was to use it between my PC, Streaming PC and Server on a side 4k monitor.It works great, and the fact its USB3, 4 ports and HDMI 2.1 is great because it no longer limits the use cases because of the KVM.Currently using it for Wireless KB/Mouse dongles, SD card reader and passthrough 4k signal on 3 different computers. Very happy with it. Been rock solid. No weird drop outs and reboots needed as it has happened in the past with other devices.

I purchased this unit as my existing KVM was not working with newer laptop, and I assume was related to HDMI2.1.This unit worked OOTB with all the machines I switch between, however cracks soon appeared. Within hours I was experiencing regular loss of video and audio (through the screen) irrespective of the port or machine which was exacerbated when connecting to remote servers or video calls. Am returning the unit.
