It’s hit or miss if these will work for you. I’d probably advise to get an EDID emulator as an add on, but it worked for one of my monitors, but not the other, and the sad thing is, it would not work at 60Hz on the monitor it would not connect. I have other KVMs that did the job, so I wanted to test to see if this one was any better.

Working between two computers has significantly eased up with this KVM switch. Switching controls from one system to another with a mere button press has streamlined my setup, keeping my desk clutter-free. The video quality remains impeccable, handling high resolutions effortlessly. It truly enhances my workspace efficiency, although the setup instructions could have been clearer, which might pose a challenge for those not tech-savvy.

The DisplayPort KVM switch simplifies my workspace by allowing control of four computers with one monitor and a single set of peripherals. The high-resolution support enhances the visual experience, while the USB 3.0 ports ensure quick data transfers. Switching between computers is easy with the remote control, and the device operates smoothly. However, setting up the connections can be a bit complex initially. Once configured, it greatly improves productivity.

Has enough USB ports to attach the periphals you are most likely to share between PC's ie keyboard mouse and external storage. Though do bear in mind external storage is not exclusive to mechanical HDDs you can connect an external SSD but then you are limited to USB 3.0 speed for transfer rates. The monitors connected up and I do not use 4k but can confirm that I am experiencing fast fluid1400p at 120fps no problem wiht this device.Easy to set up just follwo the labels on teh ports. IN comes in from the PC. OUT goes to monitor.I use this for when I drag the laptop ontot the desk every now and then to do somethign while the main PC is churnign away on another task. Its really nice to have the convenience of not worrying about switching cables backwards and forwards fro the devices. Can leave everysthing setup on desk and just plug laptop in when needed. There is a remote button included which some people will find useful. For me not so much as teh unit is right in front of me but it is good that it comes inteh box. THe thing missing that really woudl have been handy to have included are the extra display cables required to get this up and running. That is a bit of an annoyance if you dont have any spare lying around that you need to go and order some more. They included USB cables, so manufacturer realises taht extra cables are required to get use of th tiem and were willing to supply, is it realtl that much more hassle to also include two extra display cables

This is a DisplayPort KVM switch. It arrived boxed, including multiple USB3 cables, a power adapter, remote control and an external RC sensor. The build quality of this is very nice. It has a high end feel to it, not at all cheap. It is made from metal. The PSU however does feel cheap, and I wouldn't trust it to last for too long if you intend on this being in use 24/7.It has ports for four different devices. You connect the DP cable and a USB cable to one of the channels, and your computer. Then you connect the master out display to the monitor. There are 4 additional USB ports on the front, which act as a hub but are only active on the selected computer. There is a simple remote control (requires 2 AAA batteries, not included) which coupled with the external IR receiver, means you can have the switch box out of sight but still be able to use the remote. The best use for this for myself is using it with a home server. I can just use one monitor, mouse and keyboard when I want to do something on the server, then I can switch back to the regular pc without any messing around with cables. Also it's useful with a laptop for a larger or second display, although you will most likely need a HDMI to DP converter. It's good it included the USB3 cables, however it did not include any DisplayPort cables, which I feel is an oversight. There should be at least one included for between the switch and the monitor. It's a good, high quality, and useful device with multiple purposes. However some corners were cut with the lack of a DisplayPort cable and the very cheap PSU. Bear these in mind when purchasing as you might need to make additional purchases.
