When I think of glitter, I think of small sparkles. This is not ground fine at all and is chunky. At first, I was disappointed, but on the ornaments I’ve been making, I was having a difficult time applying tiny flat backed sparkles. These came in really handy as they don’t have a “right” side. I could apply them into a drop of glue for just the right amount of sparkle. And the different colors come in handy as well.
