Your cart is empty.This Square D Pumptrol 9013FHG52J59M1 air-compressor pressure switch controls an electrically driven air compressor in a power circuit when the adjustable threshold upon falling is reached and is set to turn off at 175 psi. The switch has a 1/4" NPSF internal fluid connection and is suitable for use with a higher-horsepower motor with 2 hp or greater. The non-adjustable differential is 40 psi, and the adjustable cut-out range is 100-200 psi. The switch is diaphragm actuated and has a fixed differential. The threshold, or setting point, upon rising adjusts with a screw nut. The switch has screw terminal electrical connections, and two 2-pole NC contacts open on rising pressure. The enclosure is National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) Type 1 and Ingress Protection (IP) 20 rated. The switch is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Listed and Canadian Standards Organization (CSA) certified. The maintained manual cut-out lever has auto and off positions. Was working fine, but switch is made from thin metal and broke off after couple months of occasional use. Not the easiest to install due to type of compressor, not recommended.

Seems many people do not know which switch will fit/work with whatever HP electric motor their A/C has so I Found this info online and thought I'd share it. This switch is designed to run he heavier electric motors up to a 5HP as my air compressor has. Many lower priced switches are rated for smaller motors and will fail a lot faster than this one should.

The box was beat up (probably had been shoved around on a shelf for a while). The unit inside was pristine and installed quickly and functions as expected. Good value.
