Cheap plastic. Didn't last 2 mows before plastic that holds cable in lever mechanism broke. This is the second one I've purchased and both did the same thing. Going to order OEM. Waste of money.

First.. this cable does not officially fit my mower.So I had an issue with my throttle cable on my XT2 SLX50. I love the machine but hate so many things about it. This is just one of those things. The throttle cable developed a kink within the housing!! Already you should be thinking poor design. However, this is pretty much the same housing they've been using for a few years. The problem with this is the push design rather than the standard pull to open throttle that they have used for years. Terrible. Anyway, I used this to convert the push to pull and it's working great. Luckily the EFI engine I have has mounts for both push and pull. Weird that it does but thankfully so. The only thing i will add though is that the throttle has a "Stop" for full throttle. Going beyond that would normally initiate "choke". On my EFI motor, the full throttle point is exactly that.
