From what I could tell it was an OEM replacement part. Exact match for the broken trigger mechanism in my handle. Made for a cheap fix to get my trimmer back to operational mode. When reassembling the handle be sure not to tighten housing screws too tight. It will bind the movement of the internal parts. It wasn’t working quite right and a quarter turn to loosen the screws and it all functions well. Handle is still tight and secure.
