It’s well-made, functions as expected, and is perfect for stitching leather, webbing, canvas, vinyl, and other heavy-duty materials. With a bit of practice, it produces a tight, clean lock stitch comparable to any sewing machine. The tool is straightforward to use and performs exactly as intended. There are numerous helpful YouTube tutorials available that guide you through setup and usage. While mastering it requires practice, the YouTube video on creating pre-holes was particularly useful—planning your project before threading is a game-changer. A word of caution: the tool has a sharp end, so work slowly and carefully. Avoid distractions and ensure nothing is on the other side when piercing through. Patience and precision are key to completing any project successfully. While it works wonderfully on thinner leather, as shown in the videos, thicker leather straps can be more challenging to handle.
