It’s just a basic weight, with an interior hole that can fit on a one inch diameter rod. I’m using these to weight the base areas of slightly elevated photography table lights—that are mounted on Camvate one inch diameter handle grips (instead of a weight lifting rod). Note that I would recommend a different model weight for more heavy weights (weights that instead have holes/gaps inside, to handle more easily with fingers). But small and light weights are easy enough to handle as solid pieces

Okay, I have actually purchased two sets of these. The first set was ordered quite some time ago and is perfect. The second set, purchased recently, is still good but... if you can be a bit... particular... in the condition of the items... this round... had little imperfections that kind of reminded me of like a concrete surface. All extremely minor but... for those who are a bit more ... picky?... it can be frustrating. haha

For high intensity weight lifting using heavy weights, sometimes you just can't add an extra 5 pounds especially if you are already at your upper limits. This is when having 1.25 pound plates can be handy and help you break through a sticking point. These weight plates are all alloy steel painted black and the poundage is clearly shown on each side of the plate. There are no sharp edges or faults; they are well made. No reason they will not outlive me and I still have a good 50-60 yrs. A+

I have Olympic plates at home. But am starting to build a little gym at work. These came at a very decent price. I've bought the 5lb and 10lb versions also. Recommended.

I didn't weigh them, but I don't see how they can be that off that it will impact my lifts. They are plane and have no lip to grab on to, but I know that already. 5 stars. You get exactly what you expect.

What can I say, I did not weigh each one to see if it was actually 15 pounds. They are not too large for using on dumbbells so for the most part they are good addition to a weight set.

Love the plates as it’s hard to getjjjj 15lb cast iron plates in stores. The only problem is there is no grip to hold them so you need relatively strong finger strength to pick them up.Initial I received half the package but the seller sent me the replacement plates in no time. Very responsive seller if you have any issues
