wow, surprisingly works great for being so cheap. no issues. sounds great, battery seems to last ok. works on bass and electric no problem. if you want a budget wireless, this is it. it feels solid enough too.

I have a little home studio which is always beset with cables that are always getting tangled up. So I thought the A8 Wireless Guitar Transmitter Receiver System could help unclutter things. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to synchronize the two devices, (press a button) and how well labelled the transmitter and receiver are. I've used them for hours without having to recharge the batteries. The enclosed charger with a Y cable to charge both simultaneously is also a nice feature. There is no discernible lag in using this wireless system. Since I've only used them in my small studio, I really can't say how far these devices transmit. But for my needs and for their low price they work really well.

This wireless guitar transmitter works great. I love that I can play my guitar and not worry about plugging in a bulky cable and be able to walk around wherever I want. You just plus one end in your amp and the other in your guitar and it works. It's very simple to use. It sounds decent too, I haven't really noticed a difference from being plugged in. The range is great. I plugged in and walked around my house and it even went through the walls without any problem. It's rechargeable, and comes with a USB plug that is split so you can plug both ends into it at the same time. It has two modes, acoustic and electric, but I can't tell the difference so I'm not sure what that does for you. The only problem I see is that the transmitted doesn't fully insert into the plug on my strat because of the way it goes in at an angle, but apparently it's in far enough to get a full connection. So that doesn't seem to be a problem. Overall I really like this and can recommend.

First picture is what you get in the box and the second pic is too. The third pic is where the receiver is plugged into my audio mixer and the transmitter is plugged into my guitar with close ups of the same in the next two pics. Now for the review I first charged them both with the cable they sent as it charges both on one USB A. This is my first time for not having a cable not plugged into my guitar. I do have a mic that is wireless also, so I had an idea what it would do. As I played I did notice I had to turn up the sound on my amp a little bit, as it is not quite as loud, so there is that. I did love being able to play in another room was fun. My only real problem is where the transmitter plugs into my guitar and how easy it would be to break it off as it does stick out quite a bit more. I then wondered if the builders had thought about that and could have made it where it would lay flat when it was plugged in, but what do I know. The sound was crisp and it was so different than being chained to that cable. I do like it, but would still play on stage with my chains. Great to practice with in any case. I hope this helps

I suggest a better version of this type of wireless device or just use a quality guitar cable. For guitarists, very few guitars will be a good match for this firm factor because of how it sticks out from the instrument with great potential for snapping off or damaging the instrument. Get the kind that can bend. I knew this couldn't bend but thought I might use it with other devices like battery powered drum machines or keyboards. The problem is, it adds noise. I compared with two other wireless sets I have, with everything else being the same and this one sent a noisier signal to the amp. The other wireless sets, even the lower price point options have ranged from good to great, especially the 5.8ghz option. This one isn't one I can recommend.
