Buying this tool saved us from always having to go rent one from O'Reillys, definitely worth the money!

It should be at least 6in longer to work well, but since it's not you could have to disconnect more thing like balance bar and direction rod.

I bought it to remove a stuck cv axle on a land rover lr3… it was way too small to fit behind the cv to pull it. I spent a good amount of time with an angle grinder taking off metal to make it wider until it would fit. I also wish the would give you a longer slide bar. By the time you get it way in there on the cv, you’re up inside the wheel well and have very little room to try and use it. I would definately purchase it because it got my stuck cv axle out. However be aware you might need to modify it and it is kinda short.

Cv axle remover. Make sure you contact the seller or whoever deals with this sale. I love this tool Amazon helped me. But , find out if this tool number has the cv axle remover, or you will be dealing with returning it maybe more then a couple of times, as I myself dealt with. Maybe this tool number is not the right one, or they had a mishap at the packaging line. As I have mentioned, I love this tool it helped me a lot for the job I bought it for, but went thru waiting , if you don't want to wait find out before buying. GET IN TOUCH with the seller if you can, before you purchase it, you won't regret it.

It feels like a solid tool but it doesn't fit my cv axle on 2014 forester

This was missing the black piece that goes behind the axle to help pull it off. This is pretty much useless for an axle pulling tool without that! Basically just a slide hammer which is not what I wanted now I have to return it or buy something els

Does it work on a RZR 900/1000S? YES..it's not perfect but will definitely get the job done. FAR easier than yanking on them, if you can get the tool behind the axles.Suspension on all 4 corners (including a-arms) removed.Rear Left was easy and straight forward. If the axle is gummed up with mud, you may have a tough time wedging the tool behind the axle. Start on the rear driver side. once the axle is out of the transmission, the passenger side axle can be tapped a bit from the other side to loosen it up and add penetrating lube. (front diff this is not possible)Rear Right was too tight to slip the cup tool behind the axle because of the speed sensor on the case. DO NOT break this sensor, but if you do it's $25. I slid the cup tool separately below the muffler between the vertical frame bar and the axle.Front both sides: the cup tool is not thin enough to get behind the axle. I basically hammered it in partially, then used the slide hammer with 1/2" if the tool behind the axles.
