  • PLC50 has an output of 14000BTU, it can work with pools up to 4000 gal, (9'x18' oval or 15' round). However, its efficiency is greatly affected by the air temperature. If you lived in a northern region, we recommend choosing a larger model PLC70.

  • If the pool is not covered, there will be significant heat loss. The pool may never reach the right temperature. Therefore, it is crucial to cover the pool to prevent heat loss.

  • The PLC50 requires a water flow of 600~1000 Gph, with a minimum of 600 Gph.

Easy to set up; at first we had a problem with the circuit breaker on the plug itself. The customer service and follow up from Lynn at Pool Comft was excellent. They quickly sent a replacement plug with instructions on how to replace and install.We are very happy with the until, it keeps our above ground pool at a very comfortable temperature.

Attached this heater to our 15 ft round pool. Directions were easy to follow, no extra parts were needed. Install was quick and easy. Started feeling warm water cycle within 15 minutes of hookup with minimal noise. We leave it on all day. Easily raised the temperature 10 degrees. Removed the 'water out of a hose' kind of chill. Solid investment. Would highly recommend.

Had to modify the connections to fit the hoses on my Intex system, works when water flow is triggered. Using it on a 1900 gallon pool, keeps up pretty well.

The directions are awful. And after the season I'm still not sure how it works not very user friendly.
