AVOID. Does not come with any manufacturer instructions on how to reset the factory default “000” combination. Despite the package showing it does have an individual code this is clearly not the case. A google search also does not reveal any instructions for changing the combination for this product.

It came without a code. No directions. Could not find any directions on here. Then accidentally locked it trying to figure it out. Had to be returned. Beware.

Light and compact, ideal for locking my helmet to my m/c when I park. Obviously the dedicated thief wouldn’t be held back for too long, but it would definitely deter the opportunist.

Ordered a different lock that didn’t work. Returned that and ordered this one instead. This one actually works. Would recommend to a friend.

This is a neat solution to a particular problem: How do you lock up your stuff for a few minutes to go into a store/get lunch etc. I have serious doubts that it would survive any kind of real attack - a good hammer would probably be the end of it, but for what it is it's small, light, and keeps honest people honest. I originally got it to lock up skis at the lodge for a few minutes but it's one of those things that has turned out to be handy for much more.After reading other reviews complaining that these jammed in use I put some silicone lube on the cable and mechanism when I first got it and haven't had a problem so far.

I just bought a new snowboard setup and I am worried about someone walking off with it. So I got this little lock. It works like it should, but it feels cheap and if someone pulled hard enough, it would break for sure. But it is more protection than the boards next to it.
