It is the EXACT same as the original that ships with the unit. I had a unit that someone put bubble solution into instead of hazer solution that destroyed the pump and everything else in the fluid path. The unit still isn't working, but at least the pump is good...

I found this to be almost identical to the direct chassis mount pump that Chauvet DJ uses and others. Mine is a 700 and 900 series. It includes rubber isolation mounts. I ended up changing the metal mounting bracket of the old pump with the new one so I could direct mount it. I didn't feel like drilling more holes in the fog machine. If you want to do it, and you are mechanically inclined. Remove the shaft screws, push the shaft out from the inlet side. You might need to take out the metal sleeve to swap coils for good measure. Be sure to orient the coil in the same way. You don't need to take apart the pump shaft itself. Then just reassemble and your done. One important note: the cone end of the rubber output grommet always goes into the pump. Some diy youtube vids incorrectly say otherwise. The old grommet can also be reused since they aren't a failure point. Aside from that, the pump works perfectly mounted like the original was.

This was the best replacement for my fog machine I could find. It didn’t have the connectors in the same position so I ended up using gorilla glue to secure it in place. It worked perfectly.
