Used this to add a smart thermostat to control my electric baseboards. Work good and easy to wire.Also used a second one of these to add a smart thermostat and control a draft inducer fan on my shop wood furnace.Works good so far.

Yes a blower motor and old boiler system in apartment. Stock thermostat kept poor temperature control and fatigue of thermo spring kept on/off times unreal! So it had to go. This adapter has a relay with high amp contacts for the high voltage high current blower. Even running at max start my blower was a few amps. This isolates the blower connections and the relay coil is rated for the 24v ac thermostat the nest is. Wiring was as easy as a 3- wire system once installed. Functional and compact enough to fit in a single switch box once removed from black case housing. Circuit taped up and fit into box. Mounted thermostat ontop of existing wall box. Value its cheaper than I could have built and still decent quality for me! Versatile for all two wire high voltage systems!

So this is the 2nd device I purchased (both will be returned) in which it the relay doesn't close more than a half second. The first one was continuously opening and closing and the replacement it is sporadically doing such every few seconds. Worst experience I've had with a seller/Amazon in quite a while. Very disappointed. Maybe the Aube that was considerably more in price makes sense now.
