  • Thunderbolt 3 PCs have limited compatibility with Thunderbolt 5, potentially defaulting to USB. For optimal performance with Thunderbolt 3 PCs, use a Thunderbolt 3/4 40Gbps hard drive enclosure, which is faster if recognized as USB.

  • This black button is used to adjust the fan. The fan will start automatically when a certain temperature is reached. You can also manually adjust the fan status through this button.

I purchased this unit direct from manufacturer. The unit failed within a day. Customer service was unresponsive so I had to dispute the charge and I returned the unit. Not recommended.

This enclosure delivers on speed! I’m using it with a high-performance NVMe SSD, and the Thunderbolt 5/USB4 compatibility really makes a difference. Transfers are blazing fast, and even with large files, it doesn’t throttle.The built-in cooling fan is a great feature—it keeps temperatures much lower than my previous enclosure. It’s well-built, compact, and works perfectly for high-speed external storage. If you need a reliable, high-speed SSD enclosure, this is one of the best options available.

Excellent, speeds comparable to the internal drive of my M4 Max. My only complaint is that there's no way to tell whether the tiny fan inside is running or not. No LED, silent, cannot feel any movement. Still, haven't had any overheating issues so far.
