If you have a 92-97 LT -1 this is the OEM temp and designed thermostat. Works perfectly in my 94 firehawk. Not much else to say.

Good quality replacement for my LT1 engine. I always have been happy with AC Delco parts for my GM vehicles.

This thermostat is the factory replacement required for my wife's GM vehicle. Although the price of this item is slightly higher than other brands that claim to meet of exceed OEM specifications, the quality and heavy-duty construction of this part is far superior to the others and is worth the small extra cost.As a former ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician, I know from experience that ACDelco parts are made for GM applications and in the long run are the better choice. The aftermarket brands "will work," but they are always a little different. Sometimes, it's that they don't fit quite as tightly, or maybe they look a little different from the original. In closing, just use ACDelco parts on GM vehicles and your can't go wrong.
