Always use GM parts and this worked great and cleared my code.

Bought for2001 Blazer Lt. Fits perfectly, then throws a random misfire code at around 55mph. It looks like a legit GM product, but I wonder. Had a cheapy one time before that lasted 1 year, and it threw same code the whole time. I spent hundreds of dollars trying to figure it out and was unable to find the culprit, until that cheapy crank sensor quit working. Put another crank sensor in that lasted 3 months and it did not throw the random misfire code. After it, I bought this. 1st drive test and it starts flashing my service engine code at 55mph. The other one would do that at 70mph. So the quality is questionable.

I had heat-related engine dying problems and replaced the crankshaft sensor with this one as a precaution.Recently the car had numerous issues then completely died. The 18 month old crankshaft sensor failed, shorted. We put the old one in and the car fired right up.I would expect an original part to last for many more years than this, plus we didn't drive anywhere in 2020 so 12 months of the 18 it wasn't really even driven. The part failed way before it should have.

I purchased this sensor (213-3208) to replace the OEM crank position sensor on my 1999 GMC K1500 Suburban (GMT400 body, L31 Vortec 350 V8). Perfect fit and function, and very easy to install. I always recommend using OEM parts for whatever brand vehicle you are working on (AC Delco for GM, Motorcraft for Ford, etc.), and this is an excellent example of why.

Installed item as required. Item was delivered in a timely fashion and was priced reasonably.Unfortunately, it wasn't what I needed because my Tahoe still runs like crap. Such are the trials and tribulations of a do-it-yourself mechanic.
