Nice and stiff and the suction won't collapse the hose. I'm still running the spring though just in case. Perfect fit and better then the no name ones at the local store.

Replaced the (I believe) original hose on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ. The replacement hose actually felt more robust but wasn't quite a perfect fit and didn't come with a guard. I reused the mesh sleeve from the original but the real reason for only giving it 4 stars is because it doesn't quite clear the power steering return line. I don't think it puts enough pressure on the line to cause any issues though. With all that being said, the hose was the correct length, which is a plus over the other replacement options.
