Installed this into the vehicle hoping to address an overheating issue. After warming up the vehicle, the Check Engine light came on. The code indicated the module was not working correctly. Put in a different module without any issues.

Items was useless. I bought to replace the fan control module that went bad in my 2011 P7B. On arrival brand new out of the box, the controller wouldn’t work and threw off the diagnosis of the issue. Bought the Ford OEM replacement part and the fan started working again. Although the price might be tempting either stick with OEM or a better quality part instead of this junk.

Put this one in and immediately the fan started spinning even though the car was off. Jiggled it a few times and it work probably. Jiggled it a few more times and the fan would stay running again.

I was over heating because the fan did not come on. I checked the fuse, I clipped the fan to 12vdc and it ran.I bought this because it was 1/8 the price4 the local car shop had it for. The moment I attached the battery, the fan came on. The car was off, keys in my pocket and the fan was running. I spent hours probing for power and finally gave in to trying the one from the local part store. It has been working ever since. The device seems to be the right part, so I am thinking I got a bad one.
