We live in the country so the wind spinner gets quite the work out. Everything works as it should, and seems to be accurate. We rely on it every day.

This was a gift to my daughter and she says it never worked right. The screen would not stay on. The wind sensor did not register, even though she placed it correctly. She just now gave it back to me and I tested it and found that the power adapter DOES NOT WORK. She had batteries in it and I took them out and that's how I found out that it doesn't work because the screen did not light up when I plugged it in. I want a refund, but the window has closed. Lots of money wasted.

Indoor/outdoor temp and humidity at a glance. Baro pressure spot on. Moon phase. And wind speed. Nice easy to read color display looks nice anywhere. Second one I got - first one outdoor sensor crapped out after a few years in the elements. Only issue is wind speed on both stations WAY off (low). Still a nice piece and relatively inexpensive.

Pros: I love this unit and it replaces an older Acurite unit that lasted about 7 years.I like the fact that it is so compact and also has a display for the moon phases. I live about a 10 minute drive from an airport so can easliy check if somethig doesn't seem right - and there is usually a simple reason for any discrepancy. It has a bright, easy to read display with a nice auto dim feature that can be turned off if you want. Clock is very accurate and keeps time well.Con: the weather forecast feature is the least accurate but as long as I have the barometric reading and trends I can usually figure it out anyway.Recommendation: Use lithium batteries in the sensor and replace them every 18 months or so.Buy it! You won't regret it.

This weather station was so easy to set up. It seems to be very accurate. I love how easy the colored display is to see. I'm very happy with it.

It's very nice and is working great. Mounting higher is better to keep it in the clear as much as possible. The base fits very nicely and snugly on a 3/4" schedule 40 PVC pipe. Display is very crisp and readable. I would not call it a color display as it has black LCD characters over a static printed color background. Plugged in, it stays illuminated making it very easy to see. You can change the brightness over three levels, and it has a lot of nice features.

Update: 3 years later, this weather station is still going strong. Nice little weather station for the money. It's not really fancy, no smart capabilities, no signal to use with wi-fi but that's ok as I wasn't looking for those features. It has a nice display, decent range and has withstood 40 MPH winds so far without any problem. I've only had this until for 2 months so I can't speak to longevity at this point. The back light is great and I like that it plugs in so the back up batteries will last a lot longer than if it depended on battery power to back light the unit. The back light stays on all of the time when plugged in though when it's not plugged in (or the electricity is off), you can still see the numbers, though they are dim. Some may not like it being lit all of the time but I do, as I would rather not have to push a button to turn the back light on. It's large enough to see from several feet away but not so large that it takes up too much space. I made a tiny shelf for it (5 inches long and 3 inches wide), that I placed at the height I wanted. There are a couple Cons to this unit, which is why it got 4 instead of 5 stars. One is that it doesn't have anything in the back to hang it on the wall and Two, it doesn't have great angle viewing capabilities. You need to be pretty much straight on to see the numbers or they fade out of site.Otherwise, I am quite pleased with this unit.
