Bought it for my son but since it wasn't Microsoft "OEM" he didn't want it so I use it 😁 excellent controller for the money! Love the assignable triggers too.

The controller is nice on the surface — it looks nice, the LED lights are cool, and it has mappable buttons on the underside which may or may not be of use to some gamers. Unfortunately, I have several complaints that prevent me from rating it any higher than 3 stars.First, setting the LED light colors is extremely confusing. I've read and re-read the instruction sheet that comes with it, and even though I think I am following them correctly, the controller is not doing what the instructions say it should be doing. They made it far too complicated to simply change the LED color. Also, it would be a lot cooler if the buttons themselves lit up, as opposed to the crevices around the edges of the buttons.Second, the battery life is terrible. I barely even use it and yet I feel like I am charging it all the time, almost like the battery is draining even when the controller is off. I'm not sure if it has to do with the fact that the dongle that plugs into my Xbox is constantly flashing, even when the controller is off and the Xbox is off, but I am definitely not overusing it. The controller always dies with no warning. It would be a lot better if it wasn't rechargeable and allowed me to put in my own batteries.Finally, I haven't found much use for the mappable buttons. I wanted to map one of the buttons to the Pause button because the Light Changing button is in the place where the Pause button goes on an official Xbox controller, so I'm constantly pressing that by mistake when I want to pause a game. But for some silly reason, it's not allowed. You can only map them to the face buttons (A, B, X, Y).It's a decent controller, but could be a LOT better.

Updated review: bought this controller beginning/middle of April. Here it is nearly end of May and now the controller won’t keep a charge no matter how long I let it stay on the cord. Could be a fluke, but waste of money for me.Battery life isn’t as long as advertised but still decent. Having to keep a toggle plugged in is annoying since you have to have a usb port for the wireless toggle and the controller to charge it. Still a good controller for the price and would recommend

Pros:-light weight-cheap-lights are pretty cool and adjustableCons:-battery life but even that isn't bad not an issue.

Nice controller & RGB lighting is phenomenal, sometimes it does reconnect on its on but I’m pretty sure it’s because I don’t play close up but the other then that I highly recommend this controller
