We used to use these when I worked in a refinery. They work greatWhen I got a trail cam as a gift I didn’t want to lose it to someone in the woods. The cable on this lock is sturdy, just the right size to fit through the lock tabs, the plastic sheath will protect it from rusting and the brass tip keeps the ends from fraying like in some of the other locks I’ve tried. Once it frays it’s almost impossible to thread the cable through the locking device. Not on this one.Once the cable is slid into the device it locks very tightly into place. I couldn’t budge it. Once you put your lock through both lock tabs - you’re good to go.I just wish that the body of the locking device was at least aluminum. This is a thermoplastic which is, to its credit, tougher than normal plastic. But in how I’m using the cable lock it has the possibility of being easily vandalized. But in all fairness- the material is justified for almost all other applications where they may in a hostile environment.So as a recommendation to the company— advertise them as trail cam cable locks. Make the body of the lock out of some metal type and— while you’re at it- paint the whole assembly, including the cable, in camo. 🙂

High quality, easy to use. Cable moves freely when unlocked, stays put when locked. Can be used to lock all sorts of things.

I did wish the cable was a little longer and when I first received them didn’t think it would work for locking out breakers as the 1/4” cable is pretty thick but I needed something quick to lockout a new service. I received these on time and they have a heavy duty cable for locking breakers and turned out to be very nice. Happy so far.
