This piece fits perfectly and was easy to install, mine did not include locktite but it wasn’t a probably, it works great after driving on it for a few days and haven’t had any problems

This kit works just as well as the named brand kits at a fraction of the cost. YouTube is your best friend for installation and took me an hour. I set it to 40% reduction and immediately felt the difference when shifting!

Only bad part about this product was my bottle of green loctite leaked out completely but it cleaned up just fine. No big deal to me, not worth removing a star.I installed this on my Focus RS and it makes a huge difference in the shift feel and really shortens the throws. I used to have the Cobb one on my ST and it feels EXACTLY the same for half the cost. The gear shifts require a little more effort rather than the factory “fall into place” shift. More mechanical feeling shift without replacing the plastic linkage bushings with metal ones.The only part I had to remove to put this on was a small plastic pipe that connects the air box to the small intake inlet in the front bumper which pulls right off and clips back in, no need to remove the whole air box. 15 minutes I was done. Only tools you need are 5mm Allen key and adjustable wrench. I was able to disconnect my shift linkage with my fingers, no pry tool necessary.THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANY FOCUS ST/RS IN MY OPINION.

Simple install, product feels well made even come with instructions that you really do not need, thats how easy install is. Went with the 40% reduction and wow it is short, but it makes the shifting quicker. Takes a little to get used to from factory.

Definitely made the factory shifter feel more crisp, it will make the shifting a bit noisy as it adds extra weight to the shift arm. Pretty easy to install only took about 30 minutes to install.

I've had the Cobb version in the past and this is exactly the same thing! Definitely worth the 30+ dollars being saved!! You won't be disappointed. It comes with thread lock as well!

This kit is essentially the same as any other short shift plate at a much lower price. It bolts around the shift arm and moves the pendulum point closer to the pivot, resulting in a shorter throw. The shifts take a bit more effort, but are noticeably shorter and crisper. It took me about a half hour to install. I expect if you did shifter cable bushings at the same time, it would take an hour.
