This heavy duty decorative plate provides a good place for the door jamb lock to rest , without wearing the paint off the door. This is a heavy plate, not just sheet metal! And it gives the door character. I got it in brushed nickel to match the rest of my hardware, but other options available in their store. Watch for a verification message once you order because they wanted to ensure we communicated before shipping.

Excellent product, as described. It is a little smaller than the generic push plate that I replaced, so notice the size if that matters.

I gave it only 4 stars because the color is not accurate. I ordered 8 of these push plates in the antique brushed nickel and quite honestly it was as dark looking as the oil rubbed bronze. The plates are well made but it was disappointing to have such dark plates arrive. You cannot see any nickel. The design and size fits my needs but I will need to refinish them in order to work in my conservatory. It is safe to go ahead and order them but bear in mind, they are much darker in person.

Looks great, heavy and just really has that nostalgic yesteryear manufacturing look. Perfectly squared/ rectangle and holes are counter sunk to match the screws that are INCLUDED.
