This is the 2nd single walled 6 inch "Y" pipe that I've bought. The first I bought from another company online. I paid just barely a little more, but it is noticeably thicker plastic than this.Aside from that, the plastic on this is probably thick enough to withstand most anything. I used double walled 6" corrugated piping to merge a couple of 4" corrugated pipes into. The double walled piping snaps firmly into this Y pipe and holds it nice and steady.I also used pipe tape on this to keep roots from creeping into the joint.Its thick enough to avoid being crushed. But a little thin for what you're paying for :D
