As someone who enjoys traveling and learning new languages, I was excited to try the AI Translator Earbuds. The idea of having real-time translation in my ears sounded incredible. After a few days of use, I can say these earbuds deliver on most of what they promise, However, the translation accuracy can vary with regional accents and very fast speakers, and the open-ear design means you may hear background noise in louder environments.If you need basic real-time translation and want a comfortable fit for daily use, these earbuds are worth considering!

I was disappointed with this. I didn’t have anyone near to test it out so turned on a Spanish speaking show on tv. The translation was incorrect and it didn’t pick up all the words. Perhaps in a real conversation where you have to pause after everything you say, they might be helpful but for me, they’re a no go.

I'm not sure if it's me/my phone or just the nature of the open ear design, but the volume is really low during phone calls. Playing music or streaming music online seems to be fine. Other than that, i love the open ear design where I don't have cramp the earbuds into my ear. I can wear this all day without causing any discomfort to my ears. Battery life seems is on par with big name brands. The translation feature is pretty dead on.

Really good set of open air headphones. They are really good for environments where blocking all ambient sound is not wanted. It will allow you to hear what's going on around you and maintain situational awareness but still listen to music, podcasts, etc. This is nice for work sites, watching the kids, and other scenarios where you need to hear what's going on around you.The headphones are very comfortable and can be worn for a long time without discomfort. Since they do not have the silicone plugs that go in your ears, there is no worry about size or anything.Where these shine is in the EarJoy companion app. This is what allows you to do real time translation using AI. This is a great feature and I'm surprised it's not more common. The app is admittedly a little clunky and full of bad English (which is my primary language) but it gets the job done. Since these are not in-ear type headphones, it's not gross to hand one to someone else to do real time translation. As an added bonus, the case shows the translations in real time as they're being "spoken" in the headset. I speak Russian as a second language, and was able to do some conversations with myself in English and Russian. The translations are not of great quality, but they will succeed in getting the point across if needed.The sound quality is so-so, I'm not going to lie. Since they hover above your ear opening, they don't have strong sound quality, especially bass. That's normal for this style headphones though. The sound quality is pretty average for open ear headphones.The screen on the case is also handy. It has features such as "find my headphone" that is pretty handy for those who put their headphones down and forget where... It also has a "now playing" screen where you can pause and skip music and several other features. I only wish the background images available weren't so limited

So this gives me a translation, at a much better price point than I expected. It's easier than I thought, but it's a little longer translation of time than I thought. it was accurate, and understandable. I use it at work to understand employees and will likely get several others, but I'm not sure it's faster than using google translate.
