Attentions:
1. For the purpose of saving packing space, our office chair mats would be rolled when packaged. Rolling back, and the chair mat will be gradually flat over several hours.
2. When you open the package, you will find that the office chair mat has two different sides: One is studs and the other side is textured surface. Please let the chair mat flat on your floor and put the textured face up
3.How to get the mats to lay flat when it's cold?
A: Use a hairdryer to slightly heat it up, the mat will gradually flatten.
B: Lay it flat the rolled side down, add weight on top of the mat. It will gradually flatten in 1-2 days.
C: Submerge it in warm water for a little while or expose it under the sun for hours until it flattens.

Mat comes totally & tightly rolled up. Makes it extremely difficult to unroll and spread. End result: great mat and does the trick.

we got this so we could easily slide over the carpet. instead, our chair makes huge indents into the plastic, causing it to sink down. it actually makes it harder to roll.we have medium length carpet so it shouldn't have been a big issue.overall- it's ok. we don't love it. maybe on shorter carpet with lighter chairs and people it would work better!

Set up is easy and the space it covers is just what I needed. My one problem with this mat that I have is that it moves around over time. For example, if I shift in my chair to scoot in to my desk, or vise versa, the mat starts to move out of place until the outer edges start bubbling up or rising up the legs of my desk. It also gets indented by the weight of my chair as I sit in it. Which makes it frustrating to shift my position. It is sturdy in the way that it hasn't ripped or torn, but it isn't very sturdy in the way that it remains solid and in place. Please note, I use this mat over a carpet floor. I do not know how it functions with a hardwood floor.

Bought this rug because my desk chair was leaving indents in the carpet and I wasn't able to roll or move the chair around even though the chair has wheels and is a decent quality chair.This rug was so tightly rolled in the packaging to my house it was very difficult to get it unrolled. More importantly (the reason I hate this rug) is because I still can not move or roll my chair!!! The rug moves and slids over slightly over a short time and over all is very thin. Will not be buying again

I don't use this daily since it's under the chair in my craft room, so I can't comment on durability. It seems to be sturdy and is saving the Berber carpet from the chair wheels. It was rolled up when I got it, but being a sunny day, I put it out in the driveway to warm up and it flattened out in short order. Appears fine to me.

I really like being able to move my chair with ease instead of fighting, pulling my chair through the carpet. Since receiving my Chair mat, my use of foul language has gone away. My wife has in so many words, thank you AiBO for the Chair mat. These next comments are my thoughts about providing a chair mat product in a different way. Because of the restricted area my wife gave me for the L shaped desk, the every day designs of Chair Mats work, but not perfectly in my case. This of course has nothing to do with AiBOB products quality in my situation. Before I make a mess of this review, what I wanted to say is it would have been better for me if I could have been able to order a specific size of Chair mat material ie; 3'X5' which would have allowed me to place the mat under additional pieces of furniture to fit the total areas I needed role my chair on. The mat is sturdy but when it came, it was nearly impossible to unfurl because it was curled up and so rigid and, despite putting weights down on it, it still pushes up in spots. Also, despite having grips, it does not stay put -- the grips are either not long enough or sturdy enough to hold the mat to the carpet. I have bought many chair mats over the years (since all eventually start getting holes from wear and tear, I replace about every other year for 15 years now in this job) but have never had problems with mats lying flat right away, or the mats moving around. Every day I have to reposition the mat several times a day, and it is still not laying flat in spots which is a trip hazard. I have put off reviewing the product, because if you can't say something nice ... but having just tripped on it and then repositioned it for the second time in 4 hours, I thought "what a waste of money" and thought I should try to prevent someone else from dealing with the same issues.

I was very hesitant to purchase this due to all of the reviews saying that it smelt horrible and stunk up any room that it was in, or that it never laid flat or kept slipping on the floor. I have to say that I have absolutely NO complaints. Yes, there was a "noticeable" odor, but only when I literally put my nose to the mat after taking it out of the box. I followed the directions and let it get to room temperature (at least 72 degrees Fahrenheit), and then unrolled it, rolled it in the opposite direction, and then I even used exercise weights to hold it down and flatten it out overnight. I placed it under my home office desk yesterday and have had no issues with this mat and it stays in place very well. I think a lot of people on here have made the mistake of buying this for carpets or rugs. This is meant for hardwood floors and/or solid surfaces only. There are however mats with little prongs or grippers on the side that lays on the carpet to prevent slipping. If you're looking for something for your home office with hardwood floors, this one is a great choice. I'll update my review should anything change, but I currently am a very happy customer.
