  • No. Both batteries and solar panels are optional. Solar panels help you produce power, and a battery bank can provide you with stored power for emergency back up or use at night. Your system can be customized to fit your unique application.

  • Yes, you can stack up to 6 units to increase your input and output capacity.

  • AIMS Power hybrid models are preprogrammed to work with the specs of the AIMS Power lithium battery cabinets. Other manufacturers may have different settings and would need to be reprogrammed to charge correctly. Contact AIMS for more information.

The layout and user interface of the device was great! The only problem was the battery system couldn't be less than 80 volts DC. For most battery packs the standard voltage is 48 volts DC. So unless you are willing to Shell out an extra $8,000 for their battery system, I would not recommend this inverter.The customer service was ok. They weren't exactly amiable or helpful. They helped with some of my problems, but not others. They did answer the phone though! So that's something I suppose. But they certainly didn't help me with a glad attitude.
