I first purchased this wake rope in 2017 and it worked great. The cord was round and as others stated, the clear plastic near the handle tends to crack. We're still using it to this day but the familiy has added more boats so I'm back here to purchase another rope. The new rope arrived and was flat. Amazon indicates that this is the exact same product I ordered in 2017 so it appears that Airhead has made some changes in design. I'm hoping the new design performs as well as the old rope.

When up and riding the rope is excellent - however the rope itself (not the handle) tends to sink and is very hard to see in the water.

Great rope for the money. Floats and the handle is easy to grip. As others have said, it is a bit tricky to coil it up after use. You need to coil it like you would a cable (twist as you coil) for it to maintain shape. Careful not to kink it, that seems to be permanent. The no-stretch is really great though. Nylon ropes can wear you out with the stretch, this helps alleviate that a bit. I have experienced riders as well as beginners use this rope and they all like it better than nylon.

At first we thought this rope was great. Then, the more we used it, the more it would always get tangled. Not an easy to get out tangle either, you know the kind. You have a boarder in the water waiting for the rope while you spend 10 minutes getting it undone. Really kills the mood. Then, today, we noticed the handle was starting to fall apart. This is only after being used for a few weekends. Not sure how many times but fopr $65 I would have thought it would have lasted at least to the full season or at minimum to the 4th of July. This is a real turd, DO NOT BUY

Been using this rope for the last 4 seasons and it's still in great shape. The price has gone up $20 since I bought it and it's still a solid value. If the need arises, I wouldn't hesitate buying this rope a second time. The rope floats, has high visibility and zero stretch. The big key is that it doesn't tangle/twist up like a traditional water-ski rope does.

Awesome rope for wakeboarding! Recently ordered it and have been using it for the past 6 weeks or so and wow, does it make wakeboarding a lot easier/better than a standard poly rope - no comparison! The fact that this has no stretch helps you keep tension on the line and really learn how to use the boat, your body and board together! Other nice features is that it floats (both the rope and the handle) which is great so super easy to see when you're in the water or on the boat and the neon green coloring is also super bright which is very helpful for finding it in the water. Lastly, it seems to keep its coiling (in a good, non-tangle way) which makes it easy to wrap up and store. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn wakeboarding or is trying to go to the next level!

Great rope for Waterboarding. From the Boarders's perspective, I like this for several reasons. It has a nice handle with soft grip and it doesn't stretch. Prior to using this line we were using a poly ski line that would stretch. I didn't realize that there was a difference until I wakeboarded with a line that doesn't stretch. Its much more responsive with no slack in the line. From the drivers perspective: The line floats and is bright color, so it is very easy to see in the water when driving. It is also easier to bring around to the skier when restarting compared to a poly line. It is also easy to rinse and store for it is 1/4 the thickness of a poly line. Would highly recommend.

After I read 40 plus positive reviews and only a couple bad ones, I went ahead and ordered this rope. As usual, Amazon had it here in 3 days (February-won't need it for a few months). I am a touch over 200 lbs and my buddy is around 240, so we'll have to see how it holds up. The actual rope diameter is about half that of the $20 ski rope I used last year, but the handle looks way more user friendly. I will update my review in June when I've had a few chances to "test" it's strength. May change it to a 5 star rating. Didn't want to go three stars and scare a potential buyer off. We'll see May 1st.1!!!! Okay, tried this rope out last week and absolutely love it! There are no knots to mess with, it floats on the surface the entire length, and the color is very visible on the surface of the lake. There is no stretch with this rope and you are able to shorten it if need be. Don't be fooled by the rope diameter (as I was). It works.

I waited until I got two good weekends on the lake before I wrote this review. This rope is excellent and is easily the best wakeboard rope I've used. The handle is plenty comfortable and wide. It has floats built into a handle to prevent it from sinking. The rope is 70' long with 5' sections you can take out to adjust the length. On the wakeboard I could tell a big difference in this rope compared to our old poly E rope. Because this is a true 'no stretch' rope it improved my performance and confidence behind the boat. Cutting away from the wake is smoother and the pop off the wake is more predictable. Over the course of the weekend this rope was used by over a half dozen different people ranging in experience from beginner to expert and ranging in weight from 140 lbs to 210 lbs. The rope preformed well and everyone enjoyed using it. So far I don't see any durability issues and it appears this rope will last many seasons.

Tow ropes aren't really that complicated - the one issue that everyone faces is when they get tangled or knotted and this one solves that problem. There is nothing worse than getting ready to pull someone and there's a knot in the the line and having to wait to undo it. The rope is covered by a plastic that essentially forces it stay somewhat straight, so it doesn't allow the rope to get caught up in itself. The line floats in the water and it's a bright green so it's easy to see. I'm writing this review for this next reason - if you make the mistake of letting this thing get caught in the prop like I did, it is 1000 times easier to get this thing unwrapped than any other tow rope because if it's design. Add the fact that this rope is half what some 'premium' ropes/handles cost, and this thing is a flat out steal.
