You'll need a good crimper but they hold and the heat shrink part helps a lot with strength.

Nice and cheap, just crimp them good with a vice grips and I haven't had any connection issues. Heat shrink has held up well also.

I use a lot of butt connectors and I work in a very corrosive environment. These connectors are exactly what I needed. The packaging is also important to me and it's perfect for my application.

It seems like I go through these things like candy so it's great to have a 100 pack on hand. These butt connectors crimp well using both standard and complex crimp tools. The shrink wrap melts easily and uniformly, sealing up the job nicely. Great, affordable product - no complaints!

Don’t buy these are a boating store or even a place that sells them 5 at a time as they are all rip offs. These crimp tightly and not collapse, and the heat shrink melts into the wire really well. Great deal and they work amazing.

A good and economical bulk pack of wire butt connectors for most automotive needs. Provides a solid crimp connection and the heat shrink capability further secures the connection and makes it waterproof. Note that this connector is crimp only and does not include solder to make the connection.

These worked very well. I have used about a dozen so far and the have all held solid, except when one wire was too small (out of the labeled range by a lot) so that's not their fault at all. The glue is pretty impressive. As you heat it you can see the air pockets work their way out and see that you have a solid contact seal all around. I can't speak to longevity.

I needed a solution for splicing two lighting cables for a 2001 Jeep Wrangler. They are likely to be exposed to the weather, so I needed something robust and waterproof. I am happy to say these work very well. I spliced a 22AWG fog light wire into a 16AWG Deutsch connector and the fitting was exactly right. The adhesive, once correctly heated, seems very durable. For added strength I added heat shrink, but it probably wasn't necessary. An hour-long drive in pouring rain proved a trouble-free test.Based on the short time I have had these I am happy to recommend them as a high quality product and a very decent price.
