Package is good. Heat wand is okay but takes longer than expected to melt the very little piece of solder that is in the connectors. That brings me to the real point of the review. These do not have enough solder in them to do the job. Even after a thorough melt of the minuscule amount that is in these connectors, there just isn’t enough to melt through the wire. After letting them cool for over an hour the wires were easily pulled out of the connector. 3/16” band of crap solder will never be enough to get this job done. I’m returning this item!

I think it was a good idea putting a handy heat gun in with the connectors it is a great kit.

Great set! bought to connect wires for a trailer and lights on my truck. It is easy to use and I have had no connectivity issues.

Great if you're working or adding electrical auxiliary on vehicles or toys. Works great right out of the box. Better than crimping wires together.

Order these they came on time and was as described I was uncertain as to how stable they would be or if they would stay connected but they actually work really good I have had no issues out of them I've used them three or four times on different wiring and so far so good. Does not need much heat at all I normally connect mine with just a regular cigarette lighter and a very light flame and they melt quickly so be careful not to put much heat at all and they will connect peace and out!

These shrink as described and actually get more stiff which is good for solid connections. I like the heat activated adhesive that makes a waterproof connection on single wires. They do have a ring of solder in the middle for connecting wires, it’s nice but I wish it had just a bit more solder. That said I have used these to make a couple hundred of connections and haven’t had any issue with any of them. The product works and is fairly cheap to buy. The heat gun is great, it gets very hot in seconds and the small size is easy to handle.
