I bought this cutter guide because it allowed me to cut my home mace sourdough (which is wide) plus the grooves in the base simplified the cutting of the bottom crust. However, the guides are only stapled to supports and they broke after the first couple uses. The knife supplied was too short for the wide setting and was not suitable for hard crust bread.

Perfect bread slicer. The only one I could find that would fit different widths of bread. Super easy to use and love the magnetic knife. Great purchase.

It does not adjust precise enough for bread made in my bread machine. It is either to tight or too loose. It comes with a beautiful knife but the knife is not long enough to cut all the way through and get an even slice. Fortunately I have a long enough knife for cutting bread so I use that instead.The bread slicer can be dissembled for more compact storage. Even with the above draw backs I kept it and have been using it. The product itself is very sturdy.

Overall the bread slicer is easy to assemble.Once assembled with a large loaf of bread in the slicer guide the blade on the bread knife is way to short.

I love this product, it solved all my slicing problems. This bread slicer guide is sturdy, durable, & made from natural products. The design allows the bread to be sliced all way through while catching crumbs in the tray. The knife included is wonderful & fits on the side of the unit using magnets. I highly recommend this product.

Despite the fact that this bread slicer is very well-built, the end result is a very poor slice of bread. Super uneven, I end up throwing most of it away. The result is very few slices turning out well in a loaf of bread. I bake all my own bread and now I will have to buy a different one. I had high expectations because of the 6 inch bread height it would accommodate. I am really disappointed.

Tried cutting bread machine loaf. It did fit well but started wobbling after the first couple of slices. With all the fiddling and adjusting, I know I can cut better and faster with my electric knife and put up witht he crumbs on the cutting board. Returned

Look no further!!!!!!! I’m not lying when I say I’ve ordered so many different bread slicers and have returned every single one of them except this one! Where all the others failed, this one stepped up and won. Stores nice and neat, comes with a great knife, and you can adjust the sides to hug your loaf so you can cut with precision! Yes it was more expensive but worth every penny!
