Item: Aisilan White Plug in Spotlight Fixtures, 7W Replaceable GU10 Bulb Dimmable Adjustable Spotlight Indoor, Warm White 3000KThis is a plug in light fixture that holds a GU10 bulb. The included bulb is dimmable and has a longer body than a standard GU10 bulb. This make the light output of the fixture more of a flood beam than a spot beam. A standard bulb sits further back in the fixture and the output works more like a spotlight.The fixture includes a mount that can be used on a standard utility box or mounted to a wall of ceiling with the included screws and anchors. The fixture is described as dimmable, but the cord has a binary on/off switch. Dimmability is determined by the bulb used in the fixture.

This spotlight works great. I have it pointed up towards an indoor plant and it did a great job. The light shines upwards perfectly and adds a really nice dramatic flair. I like that it has a toggle switch - I just leave it on and it plays nice with my smart switch.

Got this lamp as I needed a simple-to-install light because I wasn't authorized to add wiring. It is easy to install, looks great and most importantly it does exactly what it is supposed to do. The replaceable bulb is a big win too so it should be able to last!

I am a big fan of Aisilan lighting products, no question, but this spotlight/sconce/uplighter is confusing. Clearly, it is marketed as a CORDED light/lamp that can be used on a wall for reading, etc., or on a floor as an uplighter. The instructions, however, out of the the box, provide detailed information for hard-wiring and do not even acknowledge the attached cord, switch or how to deal with those should one prefer the more permanent, hard-wiring option. That said, even though the product description shows this light being used as a stand-alone lamp, I am not sure I would be comforable using it without hard-wiring simply because the bottom surface is not enclosed nor is it weighted, leaving the electrical wires exposed and the fixture prone to tipping. All of that said, it is a nicely finished fixture notwithstanding the small hole where the cord exists the light that would be left open should the hird-wiring option be preferred. Three Stars!

A good spotlight to add extra focused lighting in a room. This would be a great spotlight/floodlight to provide light in a nook or corner or to to highlight a specific wall area. The lamp seems sturdy and durable, which shows me it’s not cheaply made. I highly enjoy the matte black look, as it looks very sleek in a modern home. This spot light would be great for those who have a reading corner or for someone who draws . The on/off switch on the cord is handy, if you’re relaxing and don’t want to go too far, to turn off the light, but this is for certain not the most user friendly arrangement I have seen in similar up-lights, which is what this primarily is. I much prefer a remote controlled operation capability in these often out of sight effect lights. In my personal opinion, this light could be best used floor mounted to highlight a specific area like a plant, or favourite picture. It can of course also be wall mounted but unless that mounting is concealed, you will then have a power cord running up the wall. Never a great look for me at least.The last point is the dimmable potential of this spotlight. Dimmable is quite important to me. It can surely handle dimmable bulbs and you can change out the GU10 bulbs as you wish to alter the lighting intensity and effect, although, honestly, changing GU10 bulbs can be VERY 'interesting', but I cannot see that it is dimmable out of the box. There seems no mechanism by which to do this on the light itself unless I have missed it. Hopefully another reviewer will correct me on this if I have missed this important feature.This is a well built light and unlike many offers simplified bulb replacement and exchange, but is not nearly as easily controlled as others I have seen, due to not supporting or providing a remote control which I think is quite important in this type of lighting. Especially in a home environment.

The light is well-built, but it's more of a flood than a spotlight. I like that the light uses the standard GU10 socket, and there are many GU10 bulbs that change the shape of the beam or other qualities. This light, with this bulb just spread out too far - for example, at about 10 feet from a piece of art, this light puts light across the entire wall, out to around 15 feet or more across. Also, the light has a hotspot in the middle that gradually dissolves into the spill. The opposite of what I'm looking for to highlight one item on a wall. And, I did not like that the 2 screws that secure the light, and that are plainly visible, aren't color matched to the light. Those chrome screws really stand out. While this isn't the ideal light for me, it's still a good light overall. It puts out a lot of light - a lot more than other spotlights I've used. Also, the light is right around 3000k, which seems ideal for a space to relax in. It seems to be high CRI, too, which makes all the colors pop.

This is a really nice high quality product. I'm using it to highlight a potted palm tree. Has an off/on switch on the cord which is very convenient. Nice warm light output.

Good quality solid metal construction. Runs 6.5w and is bright. Nice narrow focus beam and easy to position so is perfect for reading if mounted over your shoulder in your nook.
